"I’m Perryn Ford, a Brooklyn based artist, and I’ve been creating art since I received my first Crayola fashion stencil set when I was 6 years old.
My love for visual arts has since grown and carried me through decades of self teaching combined with some formal fine arts education by way of the Corcoran School of The arts and Parsons The New School.
After more than 15 years of working in the tech and fashion industries, I have returned to my most authentic and intuitive form of self expression, creating art.
My current work is inspired by my life as a wellness advocate, and woman. Through my work, I explore the complex and intimate relationship with one’s self and connection to the natural and spiritual world, through the movement of continuous lines, expressive colors, and simplistic shapes.
I am guided by my spirituality and desire to connect more with myself and others. Inspired by the words of one of my favorite artists’, Pablo Picasso — “I have found the meaning of my life, it is to create art and give it away to as many people as possible.” This is my soul’s true purpose."
