Dear Momotaro Apotheca Community,
With COVID-19 (Coronavirus) evolving at such a rapid pace, we want to remain as transparent as possible by keeping you updated with how we are adapting to current challenges.
As always, the wellbeing of our community is our number one priority so we are taking steps to make sure that we are doing our part. To do this, we'll be monitoring the CDC and WHO recommendations to ensure that our team, our customers, and all the people we depend on stay safe.
Our warehouse is currently operating at full capacity and we are working hard so that your orders are shipped and delivered on time. We are extending our delivery timelines by one business day. We anticipate this change to remain in effect until at least the end of March. This is subject to change and we will update you accordingly, so you may be receiving more news from us in the coming weeks.
There are several reasons behind this temporary change:
- The COVID-19 outbreak in the United States now constitutes a national emergency. For more, please read here from whitehouse.gov.
- The school districts surrounding our US based warehouse have closed schools. This will greatly impact our team and we are doing everything we can to support them and their families during these times.
Carrier Performance: We are seeing delays with our carrier partners picking up and processing orders. We are in constant communication with all of our carrier partners and will continue to work extremely closely with each of them. As we receive specifics on carriers, we will update you.
Lastly, as we navigate these strange and difficult times together, our staff will continue to work remotely until it makes sense to do otherwise.
